Science & Geography Park
At the entrance of our school on the right side an area of three acres has been reserved for Geo- Science Park. Fenced with gabion net, A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Science Park demonstrates 40 exhibits placed on raised platforms. Geographical concepts like river system, different landforms, maps etc. are well-depicted. Along with these, science-based exhibits like sound reflection, energy transmission, angular movements, sound frequency, simple machine, Newton’s laws, soil conservation etc. have been designed to simplify bookish concepts. The park was inaugurated in 2012 by Shri Prataprao Pawar who was the Head of Sakal Media Group. Few more additions of geographical demonstrations were made in 2023.
The park aims to provide students with hands-on interactive ways to learn about Geography, Physics and Biology, going beyond traditional textbook learning. The park is open to all schools in the vicinity. Our efforts have been appreciated by many governmental and non-governmental organizations as our material and human resources are contributing valuably in curricula.
Parents and teachers expressed their views that the park helps students to understand Geography better and fosters a greater appreciation for India’s diversity.
